Summer Activities...
Hiking & Mountain Biking
Ask our staff for a copy of our trail map and recommendations for the perfect walk, hike, bike or climb. We are happy to lend you a water pack or even our friendly trail dog. There are more than 40 miles of interesting trails to explore directly out our door. The Lodge is bordered by the Wenatchee National Forest. You may see deer, bear, elk, wildflowers and more of nature's wonders. And to see nature's resurgence, check out the forest as it comes back from the fires of 1994.
Mountain Bike Action magazine selected Mountain Home Lodge as the Mountain Bike Resort in Washington State.

Heated Pool
Washington is often thought of as damp and rainy, but not true over here in the Eastern Cascades! Just 2 1/2 hours from Seattle the climate changes drastically. The warmth and sunshine welcome you here on the "dry side’ of the mountains. Summer temperatures average in the 80’s. Our heated pool (in-season) and hot tub (year 'round) are open 24 hours a day. There is nothing quite like relaxing in our hot tub overlooking the majestic Cascades on a clear, star filled evening in the summer or the winter. Rather than experiencing our catch phrase "1000 feet closer to heaven", ...you'll think you're already there!
Tennis
Our lighted tennis court is located on the south meadow. Professionally designed by a USTA Pro, this court has the optimum set up for sunlight and wind protection. Extra rackets are always available for you to use if you forgot yours. Need an opponent for a game? Ask one of our staff. We have a wide spectrum of players in the area who are always ready for a game on our court.
