Winter at the Lodge...

"The Winter Hideaway in the Cascades"...The New York Times

"Even though its just 20 minutes from town, Mountain Home Lodge thrives on the illusion that it's a remote winter outpost in the middle of nowhere, and it was easy to fall for the fantasy."  "The inn is set dramatically on a private 20 acre meadow with pristine, postcard view of the Stuart Range of the Cascades."  "There's one downside to having snowmobiles and snowcats around: you can't stay snowbound forever."  To view the complete article A Winter Hideaway High In The Cascades     http://www.nytimes.com/pages/travel/index.html
