This week come on down for a night full of great music provided by Birdie Fenn Cent!

"The music that Birdie Fenn Cent writes and sings is as pure and honest as it gets. She lives it and writes about it and writes about it and lives it. She’s a songwriter’s songwriter whose blood runs the color of music. Her songs shake things up, turn things inside out and dance with the skeletons in society’s closet. It takes courage to be vulnerable, to let the birds out of your heart and pull the rug out from under your demons. Birdie does this-- line after line, song after song." ~jacob crabtree

Christi Lewis will be displaying her Pine Needle Basket Artistry at Obelisco in Leavenworth! Christi's grandmother, an artist in her own right, encouraged her love of nature and art at every opportunity. They were forever exploring the Lake Wenatchee forest and beaches for rocks, moss, sticks - anything that could be converted into a pinecone bird, a mobile, wall hanging, etc. Yet, it wasn't until she retired from teaching and moved to Lake Wenatchee that she mastered the pine needle basket artistry via the internet, books and a great deal of trial and error. She invites you to hold the baskets, explore their designs and experience the scent of the Ponderosa Pines that are a part of each basket.
